Yesterday we went shopping at Walmart. By using coupons and matching sales from the other grocery stores ads, we saved over $25.00! I'm still very new at matching coupons and sales, so this might not sound like a good savings when our total bill was over $300.00, but hey... I'm still learning and $25.00 is still a savings!
Dollar General Coupons
0 comments Posted by Anna Nishimwe at 4:28 PM Labels: coupons, dollar general, rebatesWhen we were at Dollar General this morning, I noticed they seemed to have more in-store coupons then ever - how exciting! One of the deals we made was this: We bought two Old Spice deodorant sticks at $2.50 apiece. We used an in-store coupon for $1/2 which made them $2.00 each. After using the rebate for $1/2, they are $1.50 each. One dollar off each one!
Register at naturesbounty.com and get a $2/1 printable coupon for their herbs and supplements. (Thanks, Denise!)
A garden is wonderful way to save pennies. I was reminded of that when I was out gathering leaf lettuce, fresh chives, and crunchy radishes for a supper salad. I really ought to have taken a picture! For just the cost of seeds, gas to run the tiller, and lots of hard work, anyone can have fresh veggies for supper. Nothing could be fresher!
Head on over and register at JuicyJuice.com and receive a free sippy cup! (Thanks Frugal, Freebies, and Deals!)
If you are fortunate to have a "bent-and-dent" store near you, by all means be a frequent shopper! Our local "bent-and-dent" store had all their health and beauty aids 50% off today, and we got some really good deals! I found 3 bottles of Sea Breeze astringent for $1.99 each. With the 50% discount, we got them for a dollar apiece. The regular price at Walmart is about $4.26 each! They also had toothbrushes for about $0.99 apiece, which means we got them for only about $0.50 each! We also got lotion and face wash besides other things. It was exciting to get so much for so little!
Join the I Scream Team and get coupons and more from Blue Bunny. (I printed their current coupon for a Blue Bunny novelty product. I wanted to use it this morning at Walmart, but I couldn't find any Blue Bunny product that said it was a novelty item! Either my Walmart doesn't have it, or I just don't know what they're supposed to look like!)
